Drumstick leaves omelette / Muringa ila omelette
Non spicy and nutritious omelette recipe with drumstick leaves
Drumstick leaves are very nutritious leaf compared to other spinach varieties .They are very rich in iron. In our home my mom used to prepare muringa ila curry once in a week. Drumstick leaves curry,rice and fish fry OMG!!! it is a perfect homely delicious meal 🙂 . When I came to Bangalore here it is very rare. So I will bring drumstick leaves while coming from home. My kids don’t like any kind of spinach items 🙁 . So I put chopped spinach in dosa,omlette etc… This is a perfect side dish for rice and chapathi. Drumstick leaves omelette is so easy to make and needs very few ingredients. Hope you all will try this in your home.

1 cup of drumstick leaves/muringa ila
2 no of eggs
5-7 no of chopped shallots
2 no of chopped green chillies
1/2 spn. of oil
Salt as required
Drumstick leaves omelette Preparation Method
Beat eggs along with chopped shallots,drumstick leaves,green chillies and salt.
Heat a non stick pan.(Drizzle oil if you want)
Pour egg mix in to the pan.Cook until done
Serve hot with rice,chappathi etc…
Great way to get kids eat spinach.
Pregnant women can also have this daily along with roti,rice etc…It is Non spicy,nutritious and delicious.
