Kachil Mezhukkupuratti | Greater Yam Stir Fry
Tradtional side dish of Kerala
Kachil mezhukkupuratti is atradtional side dish of South India especially Kerala. Kachil is also called as greater yam which is a good source of Vitamin C and many other nutrients. Yam helps to fight against cold, flue and provide stong bones. It is also rich in fibre, pottassium, manganese etc. Here I made mezhukkupuratti (stir fry) with kachil by adding grated coconut. I have already posted some healthy and tasty yam recipes like crispy yam chips | chena chips, koottu curry/black gram and yam curry/koottucurry and chena ozhichu koottan/yam curry.
