Kala Chana Chaat | Black Chickpea Salad

Healthy 4 O’Clock Snack

Chaat is famous North Indian Snack. It is very healthy and delicious. There are lot many chaat varities like aloo chaat,samosa chaat etc… I love the sweet and sour taste of it. This black chana chat is very healthy and full of protein and low in carb. It is very easy to make and you can give this as a 4 O’Clock snack. Hope you all will like this healthy snack.

How to make Kala Chana Chaat


1 cup of kaala Chana/ Black Chana
1/4 cup of Chopped onion
1/4 cup of Chopped tomato
1/4 cup of Chopped cucumber
1 tbsp. of Chopped coriander leaves
1/6 spn. of Chat masala(Optional)
1 spn. of Lemon juice
1 spn. of Olive oil
Salt as required


Step 01

Soak brown gram for 2 -3 hour. Pressure cook with salt till 2 whistle(low flame).

Step 02

Heat oil in a pan.Add onion,green chillies. Saute for a while.

Step 03

Add Chana and saute for 1 minute.

Step 04

Add lemon juice,1 pinch of salt and chat masala. Mix well and switch off the flame.

Step 05

Serve hot with tea for snack time,tiffin treat for kids etc…
