Tangy and spicy Kerala style pickle with mango
Kerala Style Mango Pickle recipe. Pickles are the integral part of Indian kitchen. We used to prepare lemon pickle and mango pickle mostly in Kerala. This pickle goes well with curd rice . We can prepare mango pickle in many ways. This recipe I got from my Mom. She is an expert in making pickles. Her gooseberry pickle is very famous.Hope you all will like this recipe.

How to make Mango Pickle
5 no of Raw Mango
2 tbsp. of Ginger garlic crushed
4 no of Green chilli
3 springs of Curry Leaves
2 tbsp. of Chilli powder
1/2 spn. of Asafoetida
1/2 spn. of Fenugreek powder
1 spn. of Mustard Seeds
3 tbsp. of Vinegar
Salt as required
1 spn. of sesame oil
Mango Pickle Preparation Method
Cut Mango in to small pieces.
Heat oil in pan.
Splutter mustard seeds.Reduce the flame to low.Add chilli powder,fenugreek powder,asafoetida and stir for a while.
Add crushed ginger garlic mix,green chilli and curry leaves.Stir for 1 minute.
Add mangoes and salt.stir well.
Add vinegar and cook for 1 minute in low flame.
Allow to cool and store in glass bottle.
