Mutton Liver Masala
Spicy Mutton liver masala in traditional way
Easy Mutton liver masala with very few ingredients.Mutton is my all time favorite.I like all varieties of mutton dishes. I got this spicy mutton liver masala recipe from my father’s elder sisiter. My father asked her to prepare this liver masala when she come our home 🙂 . Now my husband also became a fan of this mutton liver masala :). Hope you will like the recipe.
How to make Mutton Liver Masala
½ kg of Mutton liver
250 g of shallots
100g of garlic
1 medium sized ginger
5 no of green chillies
1 spn. of cumin seeds
3 spn. of pepper
2 spn. of coriander powder
1 spn. of chilly powder
¼ spn. of turmeric powder
A handful of curry leaves
2 spn. of oil
Salt as required
Wash the mutton liver thoroughly and drain water.Keep aside.
Crush shallots(take half portion) along with green chillies,pepper,cumin seeds,ginger and garlic.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add shallots and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
Add crushed mix and stir well.Add curry leaves.Fry for 2-3 minutes in medium flame.
Add coriander powder,chilly powder and turmeric powder.Stir for 1-2 minute in low flame.
Add 2 cup of water.Add salt and mix well.
Add liver and mix well.Cover lid and cook for 15 minutes in low flame. Stir often.
Remove from fire when the curry thickens.
Traditional mutton liver masala is now ready to serve.
