- Cumin Seeds
This is the best remedy for curing gas trouble. Dry roast cumin seeds for 5 minutes. Add 1/2 glass of water and boil for 1-2 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool. Drain it and drink 2-3 times. - Ajwain
Add 1/2 spoon of ajwain to boiling water and boil for 2-3 minutes. Drink this often. This is an effective remedy for digestive problems. - Butter milk and Ajwain.
Mix 1/2 spoon of of ajwain powder( Powder it using small grinder jar) with 1 glass of butter milk. Drink 1-2 times a day. - Garlic
Burn the garlic cloves in gas flame. Crush it and have as such. This will give an immediate relief from gas trouble. - Water
Lack of water in body is also a main reason for gas trouble. Drink plenty of water. - Cinnamon
Mix 1/4 spoon of cinnamon powder in 1 glass of warm water and drink it. You can also boil water with cinnamon sticks and drink. - Baking Soda and lemon.
Mix 1/4 spoon of baking soda, 1 spoon of lemon juice and 1 glass of warm water. Mix well and drink.
How to Avoid Gas Trouble
- Drink before Meals
- Chew food very well while eating
- Eat slowly
- Avoid spicy gas forming foods.
Drink water at least 30 minutes before having food. Always try to avoid drinking water while having food.
Indigestion of food is the main reason of gas formation. If we are not chewing food properly,it will cause to form gas.
If we eat food in hurry, we swallow lots of air along with food. This will cause gas trouble.
