Crispy and tasty snack with banana blossoms
Banana flower / vazhappo dishes are common in south Indian cuisine. I am familiar with a lot of recipes with banana flowers such as banana flower stir fry, banana flower pakkavada etc. I found this recipe in a magazine and a bajji with banana blossom was new to me. It sounds interesting and tried out for an evening snack. It was super crispy and tasty. Kids also liked the finger shape of the snack. I made this vazhapoo bajji with besan flour and added rice flour for more crispiness. Frying the bajji in coconut oil makes the dish tastier. Hope you all liked this easy banana blossom fry recipe. Please try it out and let me know your comments.
