Delicious Kerala Beef roast recipe
Beef roast is a very famous side dish of Kerala cuisine. We can serve beef roast with plain rice,ghee rice,idiyappam or appam. Beef will taste more delicious when it is slow cooked. In this recipe first I cooked the beef with all spices and then mixed with masala. I have already tried some delicious beef recipes. Hope you all will like this recipes.
How to make Beef Roast
1/2 kg of Beef
2 no of Onion
4 no of tomatoes
3 tbsp. of Ginger garlic paste
10 cloves of Garlic
2 spn. of Chilli powder
1 1/2 spn. of Coriander powder
1 spn. of Turmeric powder
1 spn. of Garam masala
1 tbsp. of Oil
4 springs of Curry leaves
A handful of coriander leaves
Salt as required
Marinate beef with 1 S of chilli powder,1 S of coriander powder,1/2 S of turmeric powder,1/2 of garam masala,1/2 S of oil,salt and 10 curry leaves.Mix well with hands.Keep aside for 1 min.
Pressure cook beef(9 whistle in low flame).
Heat oil in a pan.Add green chillies,garlic and curry leaves.Saute well for 10 minute.
Add chopped onion.Saute for 2 minute.Do not fry onions.Keep the crunchiness.
Add chopped tomatoes.Saute for 1 min
Add remaining spices(1 S of chilli powder,1/2 S of turmeric powder,1/2 S of coriander powder and 1/2 of garam masala) and little amount of salt.mix well and saute for 1 min.
Add cooked beef.Mix well.
Finally add chopped coriander leaves.Cover the lid and cook for 2 minute
