Beetroot kesari
Beetroot kesari is a colorful and tasty sweet made with rava (sooji/semolina) and beetroot. Kesari is a very famous sweet of South Indian cuisine. The word meaning of rava is semolina and kesari is saffron. But here we are not using saffron for getting the color for the kesari. As we all know beetroot is highly nutritious and it makes the dish tasty and healthy.
