Healthy and tasty stir fry with Beetroot.
Beetroot thoran is a very healthy side dish which goes well with rice. This beetroot thoran requires very few ingredients. I made this thoran with grated beetroot you can also make with chopped one. Beetrrot is very rich in iron and also very good for kids. How to make Beetroot Thoran
Ingredients
2 no of Beetroot
1 no of onion
4 no of Green chilli
Salt to taste
1/2 spn. of Mustard seeds
3 springs of Curry leaves
1 spn. of Oil
Method
Step 01
Wash and peel off the beetroots. Grate it and keep aside.
Step 02
Heat oil in a pan.
Step 03
Splutter mustard seeds.
Step 04
Add curry leaves and sliced onion. Saute for 2 minutes in medium flame.
Step 05
Add Grated beets,salt and mix well.
Step 06
Cover lid and cook for 5 min in low flame. Stir often
