Bread omelette is a common snack item in Indian street foods. We can serve this dish for breakfast, brunch or as a tea time snack. In this bread omelette I have added onion,green chilli and tomato. You can also add grated carrot, finely chopped beans cauliflower etc… to make this bread omelette more healthy.

I have already tried some easy bread recipes like veg mayonnaise grilled sandwich, spinach bread toast and bread pizza.

8 slice of Bread
4 no of eggs
3 tbsp. of chopped no of onion
2 tbsp. of chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp. of chopped green chillies
2 tbsp. of milk
A pinch of turmeric
Salt as required
1 spn. of butter(optional)

Bread omelette preparation steps

Step 01

Take a bowl and add eggs. Add chopped onion,green chillies,pinch of turmeric and salt. Beat well.

Step 02

Add chopped onion,green chillies and tomatoes. Beat well.

Step 03

Add turmeric powder, milk and salt. Beat again for 1 minute.

Step 04

Take two bread slices and dip both the sides in egg mixture and keep in a plate.

Step 05

Heat non stick pan. Add butter(optional)

Step 06

Pour 1/4 of egg mixture and spread in pan. Cook in medium flame for 1 minute.

Step 07

Place the bread slices on the top of egg mixture and cook for 1 minute in low flame.

Step 08

Now fold the remaining portion of the bread with omelette

Step 09

Flip the omelette carefully and cook again for 1 minute. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
