Carrot Pachadi | Carrot Raita
Easy pachadi with grated carrots
Traditional pachadi recipe with carrot,coconut and curd. Pachadi is a traditional kerala side dish we used to prepare especially in kerala sadya. carrot pachadi is bit different and tasty. We can prepare carrot pachadi within 10 minute. I have already tried pachadies like Beetroot pachadi,Pavakka pachadi,Cucumber pachadi and Apple pachadi .Hope you will like these recipes too.
How to make carrot pachadi?
Ingredients
1 medium sized carrot
1 cup of curd
1/6 spn. of Turmeric powder
2 pinch of chilli powder
1 spn. of oil
1/4 spn. of mustard seeds
1/4 spn. of cumin seeds
5 no of sliced shallots
2 springs of curry leaves
Method
Step 01
clean and wash carrots.Grate and keep aside.
Step 02
heat 1/2 spn. of oil in a pan.
Step 03
Add grated carrots and saute for 1-2 minute
Step 04
Add turmeric powder and chilli powder.saute for another 1/2 minute.
Step 04
Remove from flame.Add this carrot to curd and mix well.
Step 05
Heat oil in another pan.
Step 06
Splutter mustard seeds.Add chopped green chillies,redh chilli,curry leaves and shallots.Saute till golden brown color
Step 07
Add this seasoning to carrot curd mix.
Step 08
Add salt and mix well.Carrot pachadi is now ready to serve
