Spicy and healthy poriyal made with cauliflower

How to make cauliflower poriyal


1/2 no of Cauliflower
1 cup of grated coconut
5 no of Green chillies
5 no of Shallots
1/2 spn. of mustard seeds
2 springs of Curry leaves
4 no of Red chillies
Salt to taste
1 tbsp. of Oil


Step 01

Mix salt and turmeric powder in 1 bowl and dip the cauliflower florets in it for 15 min. Finely chop the cauliflower. Keep aside.

Step 02

Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds and curry leaves.

Step 03

Add finely chopped green chillies and Shallots.

Step 04

Add grated coconut and stir well.

Step 05

Add the chopped cauliflower and mix well for 2 minutes.

Step 06

Add 1/4 glass of water and salt,close the lid of pan and cook for 10 minutes.
