Chakka pazham pori | Jackfruit fritters

2020-08-14

Chaka pazham pori or Jackfruit fritters is an easy to make tasty snack made with ripe jackfruit. This chakka pazham pori is a great variation of our regular pazham pori which is a common and traditional snack item of Kerala.  We make pazham pori with ethappazham (Kerala banana). When we came home for this summer vacation I tried this chakka pazham pori. I have used same ingredients and preparation method of banana fritters. It came out well and the taste was delicious. Usually, we make pazham pori with all-purpose flour, but here I used whole wheat flour. Adding little rice flour also gives extra crispiness to the fritters.
