Chicken Kebab | How to make chicken Kebab

    Kebabs are world famous dish originated from Middle East Cuisine. It has many variants throughout the world. Lamb is the traditional kebab meat but we also make Kebab with chicken, beef, turkey etc. Types of ingredients used and method of preparation of Kebab also differs based on regions. We can also grill, tawa fry or deep fry kebabs. Here I would like to share the recipe of simple chicken Kebab with deep fry version. This is a very easy to make Kebab recipe which we can serve with Fried Rice, chicken biriyani or any other main course.

    I got this kebab recipe from my friend who is an expert of chicken recipes. In this Kebab recipe I have used rice flour for a crispy consistency which you can replace with corn flour. Deep fry the Kebab along with sliced green chillies and curry leaves gives a nice aroma to the dish. Hope you all will like this kebab recipe.     How to make chicken kebab

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 kg of Chicken.
    • 2 table spoon of Ginger garlic paste
    • 2 table spoon of Yogurt
    • 1 table spoon of Kashmiri chilli powder
    • 1 spoon of turmeric powder
    • 1 spoon of Garam masala
    • 2 table spoon of All purpose flour (Maida)
    • 1 spoon of Rice flour (or Corn flour)
    • 1 egg
    • Salt as required
    • Oil for deep fry
    • 5 no of sliced Green chillies
    • 5 strings of Curry leaves

    Method

    Step 1

    Clean and wash chicken pieces. Cut into small to medium size.

    Step 2

    Take the chicken pieces in a large bowl. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, all purpose flour, rice flour, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, curd, egg and salt. Marinate well and keep aside for 4-5 hours.

    Step 3

    Heat oil in a kadai. Deep fry all the chicken pieces till golden color. Add sliced green chillies and curry leaves when the chicken pieces are half fried.

    Step 4

    Serve hot.
