Chicken Leg Fry recipe | Spicy Drumstick Chicken Fry

Chicken leg fry or drumstick chicken is a very famous Indian dish which can be served as a starter or served with with roti, fried rice, chapathi etc. This is a delicious spicy Indian style chicken fry recipe with basic ingredients. Chicken fry is everyone’s all time favorite dish. Most of us like fried recipes of chicken than the gravy versions. In this recipe I would like to show you how to make a tasty and spicy chicken drumstick fry.

2 Chicken Legs
1 tbsp. of ginger garlic green chilli paste
1/2 spn. of vinegar
1/2 spn. of lemon juice
1/2 spn. of curd.
1/2 spn. of chilli powder
1/2 spn. of turmeric powder
1/4 spn. of garam masala
Salt as required
4 tbsp. of oil

Chicken Leg Fry Preparation Steps

Step 01

Clean and wash chicken legs.

Step 02

Make 3-4 slits on each piece.

Step 03

Take a mixing bowl and add all the spices.

Step 04

Take juice from ginger garlic paste (Gently squeeze out ginger garlic paste using your hands to get the juice)

Step 05

Add this juice ,lemon juice,yogurt and vinegar to the spice mix.

Step 06

Add salt and mix well and form a thick paste.

Step 07

Marinate the chicken pieces with this paste.

Step 08

Keep in refrigerator for at least 60 minutes.(tastes too good if we keep for overnight).

Step 09

Heat 4 tbsp of oil in a pan

Step 10

Shallow fry the pieces for 12-15 minutes in very low flame.Cover the pan while frying.

Step 11

Turn the pieces at regular intervals to avoid blackening.
