Easy and tasty cornflour murukku with corn flour,besan and roasted gram powder
Crispy corn flour murukku with besan and roased gram. Muruku became very famous in my family now. My daughter liked it a lot. She always point out murukku bottle and ask me for murukku with her own words(She just started speaking 🙂 ). This time instead of rice flour I bought 1 kg of cornflour by mistake from supermarket. My husband asked me what you are going to do with this. I just searched for cornflour recipes in google and got this murukku idea. Tried it and you won’t believe it was so delicious. It is very crispy and taste and like butter murukku. I have already tried Green gram murukku,Special murukku,Omapodi/Sev and Whole wheat crispy puri. Hope you all will like this recipes too.

How to make Cornflour Murukku
Ingredients
1 cup of corn flour
1/4 cup of besan
1/4 cup of roasted gram powder
1 spn. of butter
1 spn. of cumin seeds
1 spn. of sesame seeds
1/2 spn. of ajwain seeds
Salt as required
Oil for fry
Method
Step 01
Take a large bowl and add all the ingredients. Add water little by little Knead well to bit tight dough.
Step 02
Heat oil in a kadai.
Step 03
Squeeze the murukku using any shape plate of your wish in the press.
Step 04
Cook it until the murukku floats in oil.
Step 05
Drain in paper towel and allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
