Dal curry
Dal curry is a traditional north indian side dish used to have with roti,chappathi,rice etc…
Ingredients
250 g of Dal
1 no of Onion
2 no of Tomato
4 no of Green chilli
1 tbsp. of Ginger garlic crushed
1 spn. of Chilli powder
1/2 spn. of Turmeric powder
A handful of Coriander leaves
1 spn. of oil
2 springs of curry leaves
Salt as required
Method
Step 01
Pressure cook dal along with salt and keep aside.
Step 02
Heat oil in a pan.Add onion,green chilli and curry leaves.
Step 03
When onion get fried,add ginger garlic paste.saute well for 1/2 minute.
Step 04
Add chopped tomatoes.Saute till tomatoes get cooked.
Step 05
Add spices and saute for 1 minute
Step 06
Add coriander leaves.
Step 07
Add dal and mix well.
Step 08
Cover lid of pan and cook for 2 minute in low flame.
