Juicy prawns roast with crunchy capsicum
Delicious prawns roast with crunchy capsicum. This recipe is very easy to make requires only 15 minutes preperation time. As we all know prawns recipes are very tasty amoung seafood cusinins. This juicy prawns roast is so delicious and I tried this in a diffent way. I have added capsicum in this roast and its crunchy taste and nice aroma gives a different flavour to the dish. We can serve this roast with rice,chapthi,roti,naanetc. I have already tried some delicious prawns recipes like Chinese Style Prawns fry ,Dried prawns curry (Konchum Manga),Prawn masala,Dried Prawns chutney powder (chemmeen podi),Pepper prawns,Prawns head fry. 1/2 kg of Prawns
1 1/2 no of onion cut into cube shape
2 no of chopped tomato cut into cube shape
1 no of capsicum cut into cube shape
1 tbsp of chopped ginigner
1 tbsp of chopped garlic
4 no of chopped green chillies
1 tbsp. of ginger garlic paste
A handful of chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp. of lemon juice
1 spn. of chilli powder
1/2 spn. of turmeric powder
1/2 spn. of coriander powder
1/2 spn. of pepper powder
1/2 spn. of garam Masala
2 spn. of Oil
Salt as required
Heat oil in a pan.Add chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies. Saute for 1 minute.
Add chopped onion and capsicum. Saute for 1 minute. Do not loose the cruchiness of onion. Saute in high flame.
Add tomaotes and saute for 2 minutes. Do not cook the tomatoes till mushy.
Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, corainder powder and pepper powder. reduce the flame to low and saute for 1/2 minute.
Add prawns and mix well.
Add salt, garam masala and cover the pan.
Slow cook for 5 minutes. Do not over cook the prawns for more than 5 minutes otherwise it will become hard and rubbery.
After 5 minutes open the lid and add 1 spn. of lemoin juice. Mix well and switch off the flame. Keep the pan covered for 5 more minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
