    Crispy and spicy egg Pakkavada recipe

    Egg pakka vada with onion nad boiled eggs. Pakkavada/Ullivada is a traditional snack item of South India. Usually Pakkavada is made with besan and onion. In Kerala it is also known as ullivada. We can make pakkavada more healthy by adding vegetables or anything you want. Here I made pakkavada with bolied egg and onion. It is very healthy and you can good for kids who dont like to eat egg.     • 2 cups of Besan flour
    • 2 Eggs
    • 1 large onion finely chopped
    • 2 nos. green chillies
    • Some curry leaves
    • 1/4 tspn. of Garam Masala
    • Salt as required


    Step 01

    Boil eggs.cut in to small peaces.

    Step 02

    Mix chopped onion,green chilli,curry leaves and salt. Mash well with hands.

    Step 03

    Add besan flour into the mix.Add water little by little and make a thick dough.

    Step 04

    Add egg and saute carefully with a spoon.

    Step 05

    If the mix is too watery add besan flour to make a thick mix.

    Step 06

    Heat oil in a pan.

    Step 07

    Make small potion from the mix using spoon or hand and carefully put into the oil.

    Step 08

    Fry both side till golden brown color. Serve hot.
