Eggless chocolate cake with ganache frosting recipe with video – Delicious, easy to make, eggless chocolate cake with basic ingredients. One of the best chocolate cake my family loved and enjoyed. I made this cake for my son’s 10th birthday who is a great chocolate fan. Here I have used ganache frosting to make him happier. I made his favorite sabudana kheer also the same day which calls it ‘ball payasam’ and of course chicken biriyani too 😉 .
Coming to the cake recipe, eggless cakes are one of the easiest cake which can be tried even by kids. No eggs and beater is required for making this cake. I have used butter for making this cake and you can also use oil will increase the moist texture of the cake. There are no special ingredients for making this yummy chocolate cake and ganache frosting make this cake more yummy

- All purpose flour - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Coco powder - 1/2 cup
- Baking powder - 3/4 spoon
- Baking soda - 1/4 spoon
- Butter - 50g
- Milkmade - 1/4 cup
- Curd - 1/2 cup
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- --------For Ganache-------
- Cream - 250ml
- Dark chocolate - 200g
- Butter 25g
Add all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda in a bowl. Mix well and sieve one or two times. Keep aside.
Take butter in a bowl. Add powdered sugar and beat well for 5 minutes. Add milkmaid and beat for 5 more minutes.
Add curd and beat for 2 minutes. Add flour and mix well till all the ingredients are combined well. Add milk little by little and make a thick batter consistency
Add vanilla essence and mix. Greece butter in the baking tray and pour the batter. Tap well.
Bake in the oven for 35 minutes (180 C) or Bake in a pan for 30 minutes in low flame (Place the baking pan on top of another nonstick pan while baking to adjust the heat).
For making ganache frosting, heat 250 ml of cream in a vessel and remove from flame when it starts boiling. Add grated dark chocolate and mix well till it melts. Add 25g of butter and mix well. This gives an extra glazing to the ganache.
Pour ganache frosting over the cake and refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve chilled.
