Spicy traditional sardine fish fry with few ingredients

Fish fry is an easy and inevitable recipe in Kerala lunch menu. It is goes well with vegetarian curry and rice. We can make fish fry in many ways. I would like to introduce you the most common and easy way here. Hope you all will like this recipe.

10 Whole fish cleaned preferably Sardine
1 spn. of chilli powder
1/4 spn. of turmeric powder
1/2 of one lemon
Salt as required
Oil for fry

Nadan Fish Fry preparation Method

Step 01

Make a fine paste of chilli powder,turmeric powder salt and lemon juice.You can use bit of water.

Step 03

Marinate each fish pieces with this masala one by one.Keep aside for 15 minutes.

Step 05

Heat oil in a pan.Shallow fry the fish on medium flame.(Adding curry leaves will enhance the taste).

Step 07

Flip over fish after 2-3 minutes.

Step 08

Once the Fish becomes crispy take out from the pan and serve hot.

Note :

1.You can use ginger garlic paste for marination.But this is the traditional way of making fish fry
