Ingredients
2 cup of Green gram
3/4 cup of Grated coconut
5 no of Shallots
1/2 spoon of Cumin seeds
4 no of Green chilli
1/4 spoon of Turmeric powder
Salt as required
Seasoning
1 spoon of Oil
1 spoon of Mustard seeds
4 no of Red chillies
1 spring of curry leaves
Method
Step 01
Soak green gram in water for 2 hour.(optional)
Step 02
Pressure cook green gram with 2 pinch of turmeric powder and salt(till 4 whistle in medium flame).
Step 03
Grind grated coconut along with shallots,cumin seeds and green chillies to smooth fine paste.
Step 04
Add this fine paste to cooked green gram and cook for 1 min.Add salt if required.Do not boil the curry.
Step 05
Heat oil in a pan.Splutter mustard seeds.Add red chillies and curry leaves.Add this seasoning to curry and mix well.Goes well with chappathi,poori,Appam etc…
