Karimeen pollichathu- Kerala Style
Karimeen pollichathu in banana leaf. A few days back we had karimeen pollichathu from a restaurant. The taste was not good 🙁 and it costs around 300 for one fish.Next weekend my hubby bought karimeen from market(usually he won’t buy fresh water fishes from here).I got surprised and decided to give him a grant treat with the karimeen 😀 (I had some banana leaves with me brought from home). Prepared karimeen pollichathu ,matta rice cabbage poriyal and moru curry (All his favorites 🙂 <3 ) . He loved pollichathu and told we will buy karimeen from here.I asked him ” but you don’t like to buy fresh water fish from here na? ” .He laughed and said ‘no probs….its tasty’ 😀 . I have already tried Karimeen Fry,Ayala Pollichathu(with step-by-step photos) and Mathi pollichathu. Hope you will like these recipes too.
