Kerala Style Slow Cooker Mutton Curry Recipe
Tasty and delicious Kerala style slow cooker lamb/mutton curry. It is always better to cook mutton in very low flame to retain its tenderness and moisture.This is an easy mutton curry recipe prepare in malabar side of Kerala. No special ingredients is needed for this recipe. It goes well with Ghee Rice,chappathi,pathiri,Palappam etc… I have already tried Pressure cooker mutton biriyani, Mutton Liver Masala and Mutton Roast. How to Make Kerala Style Mutton Curry
1/2 kg of Mutton
2 no of Onion
3 no of Tomato
2 tbsp. of Ginger garlic paste
4 no of Green chillies
3 springs of curry leaves
1 1/2 spn. of Chilli powder
1 spn. of Coriander powder
3/4 spn. of Turmeric powder
1/6 spn. of pepper powder
1/2 spn. of garam masala
2 tbsp. of Oil
Salt as required
Heat oil in a pan.
Add ginger garlic paste. Fry till raw smell goes off.
Add finely sliced onion,sliced green chillies and curry leaves. Fry till onion become golden brown color.
Add chopped tomato and cook till tomatoes become mushy.
Add chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,pepper powder and garam masala. Mix well and fry for 1 minute
Add mutton and mix well. Add salt and 1/4 cup of water(Do not add too much of water. Water will come out from mutton while cooking)
Cook in low flame till 1-2 whistle. Turn off the flame
Tasty and delicious mutton curry is now ready to serve.
1.Do not increase the flame. Let the mutton cook in low flame.
