Spicy South indian recipe

Kothu Parotta


4 no of plain parottas
3 no of eggs(lightly beaten with little salt and pepper)
1 no of chopped onion
1 no of finely chopped tomatoes
4 no of sliced green chillies
1 cup of chicken gravy
1/2 cup of Shredded Chicken(optional)
1 spn. of ginger garlic paste
4 tbsp. of finely chopped coriander leaves
2 springs of curry leaves
1/2 spn. of chilli powder
1/4 spn. of turmeric powder
1/6 spn. of pepper powder
1/4 spn. of garam masala
Few drops of lemon juice
Salt as required
1 tbsp. of oil


Step 01

Heat oil in a pan

Step 02

Add ginger garlic paste.Fry till the raw smell goes off.

Step 03

Add finely chopped onion and green chillies. saute till onion get translucent.

Step 04

Add finely chopped tomatoes.Fry till tomatoes become mushy.

Step 05

Add all the spices.Fry for 1 minute in low flame.

Step 06

Add beaten egg mixture and scramble it till almost cooked.

Step 07

Add chopped coriander leaves.Saute for a while.

Step 08

Dump the parotta shreds and chicken shreds.Mix well for 1-2 minute.Add chicken gravy(You can also use water instead of chicken gravy) and again mix well.

Step 09

Add salt and finish it off with few drops of lime juice

Step 10

Goes well with black tea.No need of any side dish…Enjoy
