We can make lots of sweet and savory dishes with mangoes.The best way to enjoy a mango is diced fresh, just by itself. We can preserve mangoes in form of jam,jelly,pickle,fry mango etc… This mango jam doesn’t contains any preservatives so we need to refrigerate this jam. Instead of buying jams from outside it is always better to prepare jams in home itself. Hope you will like this recipe. I have already tried Strawberry jam, mixed fruit jam and Gooseberry jam. How to make Homemade Mango Jam
2 cup of Chopped mango
1/2 cup of Sugar
1 1/2 tbsp of Lemon juice
Grind the chopped mango to smooth(you can use mixer grinder).
Take a thick bottom vessel.Add the mango puree,sugar and lime juice. Mix well for 1 minute.
Bring the mixture to boil.Keep stirring until the mixture turned into a jam consistency(It will take minimum 15 minutes).
Turn off the flame and allow to cool.
Store in airtight containers(you can also use glass bottle).
Taste better after refrigerated.
