Mango Rice

Spicy tangy rice with mango


2 no of Raw Mango(Pacha manga)
1/2 kg of Jeera rice/Basmati rice
1 tbsp. of Toor dal
1 spn. of Urd Dal
1/4 spn. of Asafoetida
1/4 sp. of Mustard seeds
1/2 spn. of Cumin seeds
3 no of Red chilli
3 springs of Curry leaves
Salt as required
1 spn. of oil


Step 01

Grate mangoes and keep aside.

Step 02

Boil rice and drain well.

Step 03

Heat oil in a pan.Splutter mustard seeds,curry leaves,red chillies,tuvar dal and urd dal.Saute for 1 minute.

Step 04

Add turmeric powder and asafoetida.Saute well.

Step 05

Add grated mango and fry for 2 minute.

Step 06

Add rice and mix well.Remove from flame.Healthy tangy mango rice ready
