Meen ada | Steamed fish momos with step by step photos
Spicy Steamed meen ada made with rice flour
Meen ada is a traditional malabar dish used to serve on special occasions like marriage parties, eid, ifthar etc… As it name implies the meaning of “meen” in malayalam is fish. We used to prepare it with rice flour, grated coconut and fish. Fennel seeds are the important ingredient in this recipe because it will give a nice aroma to the coconut mix. Compared to other snacks it is very healthy because this snack is steamed one. I have already tried some delicious steamed recipes like ragi kozhukkatta/steamed finger millet balls, ethappazham kozhukkatta,Ragi ila ada, sweet kozhukkatta etc… You can also check for my fish recipes like
