milk cake recipe with whole wheat flour and tutti frutti. Cakes are liked by everyone as a tea time snack or as a dessert. This milk cake is very easy to prepare and healthy because we are using whole wheat flour to make this cake and I should say this cake is not that much soft as maida cake. In this milk cake I have added yogurt which makes the cake more spongy. You can also use crushed badam,pista or nuts along with tutti frutti. Hope you all will like this milk cake recipes.

How to make Milk Cake
Ingredients
1 cup of whole wheat flour(atta) or all purpose flour
4 no of eggs
1 cup of milk
1 cup of tutti frutti
2 tbsp. of yogurt
1/4 cup of sugar
3/4 cup of oil
2 spn. of vanilla essence(optional)
1 spn. of baking powder
1/2 spn. of baking soda
1 pinch of salt
Method
Step 01
Blend milk,oil,sugar,pinch of salt,yogurt and eggs to smooth paste(using blender or mixer grinder).Step 02
Take all whole wheat flour,baking soda and baking powder in a bowl. Mix well with handsStep 03
Sieve the flour mix twice.Step 04
Add milk mixture to the flour and mix well.Step 05
Blend the batter for 2-3 minutes (using blender or mixer grinder). Finally add tutti frutti. Mix well with a ladle.Step 06
Grease cake tray with butter or ghee and pour the batter. Leave 2 inch free space. Add some more tutti frutti on top.Step 07
Take pressure cooker and place a steel bowl inside.Step 08
Place the cake try carefully on the top of that bowl.Step 09
Cook for 1 minute in high flame (Do not put whistle while baking cake). Reduce the flame and bake for 50-60 minutes. Insert a toothpick at the center of cake and if it is comes out clean, cake is ready otherwise again cook for 5 more minutes.
