Delicious homemade mixed fruit jam with basil seeds
Mixed fruit jam with few ingredients. Jams are preserve with fruits or vegetables with sugar store for long term. We can serve jam with bread,roti,dosa etc… I made this jam with mixed fruits like grapes,banana,apple and strawberry. No preservatives and artificial color added to this recipe. I have also added basil seeds/falooda seeds(sabja seeds) in this jam to get a crunchy feel, but it is optional. You can also check for some other delicious jam recipes like mango jamstrawberry jam and Gooseberry jam. Hope you all will like this recipes.
Home made mixed fruit jam
1/2 cup of grapes (I took black seedless grapes)
1/2 cup of chopped apple
1/2 cup of chopped pineapple
1/2 cup of chopped strawberries
1 cup of Sugar
1 tbsp. of falooda seeds/basil seeds
1 1/2 tbsp of Lemon juice
Cook all the fruits with 1/4 glass of water for 5 minutes. Cover the pan while cooking.
Grind the mix to smooth paste(you can use mixer grinder).
Take a thick bottom vessel. Add the puree and sugar. Mix well for 1 minute.
Cook the mixture. Keep stirring until the mixture turned into a jam consistency(It will take minimum 15 minutes).
Add basil seeds and lemon juice. Stir well and cook for 5 more minutes.
Turn off the flame and allow to cool.
Store in airtight container (use glass bottle).
Yummy healthy mixed fruit jam is now ready 🙂 ..Enjoy
