Mongolian Beef Fry


A dry beef recipe from Chinese American cuisine


Mongolian beef fry is and easy to make beef stir fry recipe which goes well with fried rice, chapathi, roti etc. It is not a Mongolian dish instead a popular beef fry recipe in Chinese restaurants. I got this recipe from a magazine and found the process of making it is so simple. Tried it on a weekend and served with fried rice. The taste was so delicious and everybody liked the crispy taste of the beef.

Ingredients

1/2 kg of Beef
1 tbsp. of Ginger garlic paste
1 spn. of sugar
1 tbsp. of Soy sauce
1 tbsp. of Chilli flakes
2 tbsp. of Corn flour
1/2 spn. of pepper powder
1 spn. of herb seasoning ( I used keya all purpose seasoning)
Oil for deep fry

Method

Step 01


Clean and slice beef like finger size pieces

Step 02


Marinate beef pieces with soy sauce,ginger garlic paste,sugar,little amount of salt,1/2 of herb seasoning and pepper.

Step 03


Pressure cook beef in medium flame (till 8 whistle)

Step 04


Allow to cool and again marinate beef pieces with corn flour, herb seasoning and red chilly flakes. Keep aside for 15 minutes.

Step 05


Heat oil in a tawa. Deep fry beef for 1- 2 minutes.

Step 06


Garnish with walnuts and corn kernels
