Mulaku Bajji | Chilli Bajji
Special spicy mulakku bajji with coconut chutney mixed in besan flour. Consumes less oil too :). I have posted Andhra style stuffed chilli with bajji chilli.
Ingredients
250g of Besan Flour(kadalamavu)
6 no of Long green chillies.
2 tbsp. of Chopped coriander leaves
2 tbsp. of Chopped curry leaves
1/4 spn. of Chilli powder
1/6 spn. of turmeric powder
1/4 spn. of Chicken Masala
Salt as required
For Chutney
2 tbsp. of grated coconut
1 no of green chilli
1 no of shallot
1 tbsp. of coriander leaves
salt as required
Oil to fry
Method
Step 01
Grind all the ingredients under “For chutney” section.Keep aside.
Step 02
Add besan flour,salt,chilli powder,turmeric powder and chicken masala to a bowl.
Step 03
Add water little by little and make a thick pakkavada texture. Add chopped curry leaves,coriander leaves and ground coconut mixture.Mix well with hands.Keep aside for 15-20 minute.
Step 04
Clean and Chop the chilli in to small pieces.
Step 05
Add the chillies in to the besan mix and marinate for 10 more minute(for better taste).
Step 06
Heat oil in a pan.
Step 07
Take chillies one by one and put in oil.
Step 08
Fry the chillies till golden color.
Step 09
Enjoy with tomato sauce.

Hi!
That is a good evening time snack to serve with tea . I always try new snacks every evening. Most of the sancks are made from Besan. And Besan snacks are all time favorite at home. Besan Fries is a very good snack i found out lately.. A must try!
