Nadan Beef Curry

Traditional Kerala style Beef curry

Nadan beef curry is one of the most famous side dish recipe of Kerala restaurants to be served with Kerala porotta. Beef recipes are the favorite dishes of we Keralites and there are many ways of making beef dishes throughout Kerala. Today I am going to share the recipe of Kerala nadan beef curry. ‘Nadan’ is the Malayalam word for traditional. I learned this recipe from my mom. My husband loves beef than any other non vegetarian items.

Our traditional beef curry and pathiri is very famous in Malabar side of Kerala. Here in this beef curry we are using one traditional masala powder. That gives a nice aroma to the curry. One point you need to keep in mind is always try to cook beef in low flame with very little or no water. Because beef already contains lots of water. So if you add additional water, the curry will be too watery which will reduce the taste. Hope you all will like this nadan beef curry recipe. Please try it out and let me know how it turned out for you.
