Healthy breakfast with oats and vegetables
uthappam is south india’s famous traditional recipe. It is very healhty and delicious. We usually make uthappam with normal dosa batter. Just make normal thick dosa and sprinkle chopped mixed vegetables on the top. Here I tried uthappam with oats batter. It is good for diabetic patients than the normal rice batter. I have already tried some diabetic friendly oats recipes like Instant Oats Idli,Oats Kheer,Oats kozhukkattai,Oats uthappam,Spicy oats porridge,Oats Unniyappam,Ragi oats porridge,Apple oats porridge and oats dal fritters. 1 cup of Oats
1 tbsp. of Curd
Salt as required
1 no of Onion
1 no of Tomato
2 no of Green chillies
1 tbsp. of Coriander leaves
1/4 spn. of Lemon juice
Salt as required
Take oats in a bowl.Add water little by little and make a thick batter.Add curd,salt.Mix well.Keep aside
Finely Chop onion,tomatoes,green chillies and coriander leaves.
Add lemon juice and a pinch of salt.Mix well.
Heat a non stick pan.
Spread 1 big ladle full of it to a heated frying pan.
Sprinkle vegetable toppings on dosa.Let it cook for 1-2 minute in medium flame.Do not cover the pan.
Flip to cook the other side.Serve hot with Chutnies,sambar etc…
