Healthy breakfast with oats and vegetables

uthappam is south india’s famous traditional recipe. It is very healhty and delicious. We usually make uthappam with normal dosa batter. Just make normal thick dosa and sprinkle chopped mixed vegetables on the top. Here I tried uthappam with oats batter. It is good for diabetic patients than the normal rice batter. I have already tried some diabetic friendly oats recipes like Instant Oats Idli,Oats Kheer,Oats kozhukkattai,Oats uthappam,Spicy oats porridge,Oats Unniyappam,Ragi oats porridge,Apple oats porridge and oats dal fritters. Hope you all will like this recipes.

For batter
1 cup of Oats
1 tbsp. of Curd
Salt as required
For Topping
1 no of Onion
1 no of Tomato
2 no of Green chillies
1 tbsp. of Coriander leaves
1/4 spn. of Lemon juice
Salt as required


Step 01

Take oats in a bowl.Add water little by little and make a thick batter.Add curd,salt.Mix well.Keep aside

Step 02

Finely Chop onion,tomatoes,green chillies and coriander leaves.

Step 03

Add lemon juice and a pinch of salt.Mix well.

Step 04

Heat a non stick pan.

Step 05

Spread 1 big ladle full of it to a heated frying pan.

Step 06

Sprinkle vegetable toppings on dosa.Let it cook for 1-2 minute in medium flame.Do not cover the pan.

Step 07

Flip to cook the other side.Serve hot with Chutnies,sambar etc…
