Traditional south indian snack
Omapodi is a famous south indian snack prepared with oma/ajwain. We used to prepare omapodi mainly for festivals. Unlike other snacks, omapodi is very nutritional and healthy. Ajwain is very good for health. It is used for indigestion and related disorders, pain killing abilities, curing respiratory disorders. Water boiled with Ajwain is given to mothers for a week after delivery. Ajwain water is supposed to have body cleanse action.
