Orange Peel Pickle
Orange peel pickle is a variety of healthy pickle made with orange peel. A recipe with orange peel was really surprising for me. I know that orange peel powder is used in the face but making a pickle with orange peel was new to me.
Orange peel also loaded with vitamin C, vitamin A and so many important enzymes. It also helps to boost up the immune system. Anyway, I tried this one and it came out well. Even though the peel had slightly bitter, I liked the sweet and sour taste of it. Jaggery and tamarind reduce the bitter taste of orange peel. Hope you all will like this recipe.

How to make Orange Peel pickle?
Orange peel of 4 Orange
1/2 cup of Tamarind juice
1/2 cup of Jaggery
2 tbsp. of Chilli Powder
1/2 tbsp. of Turmeric Powder
1 spn. of Asafoetida
20 cloves of Garlic
5 no of Green chillies
1 spn. of Fenugreek seeds
Slice the Orange peels into tiny pieces.
Heat oil in a pan splutters mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds,asateofeda, chilli powder and turmeric powder. Stir well
Add chopped garlic, curry leave and green chillies. Fry for 2 min.
Add orange peel and Add salt. Fry for 5 min in medium flame
Add tamarind juice and cook for 5 min.
Add jaggery and mix well. When the pickle turns to thick gravy consistency, remove it from flame.
