Yummy paneer kheer enriched with milk,dry fruits and crumbled paneer
Paneer kheer is a yummy and easy to make kheer with crumbled paneer,milk and dry fruits. If we are planning for a quick dessert, paneer kheer is the best option. Usually we make curries,snacks and rice dishes with paneer. A kheer with paneer will be surprising for everyone. This paneer kheer is a Bengali dish there it is known as chenna kheer. This is a healthy dessert perfect for kids also because paneer is rich in protien and along with milk and dry fruits.
How to make Paneer Kheer? | cottage cheese kheer
- 3 cup of milk
- 1 cup of crumbled paneer
- 1/2 cup of Sugar or 3 tbsp. of condensed milk
- 1/2 spn. of cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp. of crushed pistachios
- 2 tbsp. of crushed badam
- 2 tbsp. of crushed nuts
Gently crumble paneer with hands. If you have freeze paneer, just grate it.
Add milk in a thick bottom vessel and cook for 10 minutes in low flame.
Add sugar(or condensed milk) and cardamom powder. Mix well.
Add crushed dry fruits and cook in medium flame for 5 minutes.
Add crumbled/grated paneer and mix well. Cook again for 5 minutes in low flame.
Serve chilled or hot.Taste more yummy when chilled.
