Pottukadala Chutney | roasted gram chutney
Healthy and tasty Chutney with Pottukdala.
Chutneys are famous side dish of south india. We used to prepare chutney for dosa,idli,appam,chappathi. Pottukadala (roasted gram) is rich in iron and very low in calorie. This chutney is so easy to prepare and good for your kids too. Pottukadala soaked in tea is a healthy 4 O’ Clock snack.

Pottukadalai chutney goes well with Dosa,Idli,Appam etc…
Ingredients
1 cup of grated coconut
1/2 cup of pottukadala(roasted gram)
2 no of green chillies
1 small piece of ginger
To season
1 spn. of oil
1/2 spn. of mustard seeds
2 springs of curry leaves
2 no of red chilly
Salt as required
Pottukadala chutney preparation steps
Step 01
Grind Pottukadala along with 1 cup of water,grated coconut,green chillies,salt and ginger to a smooth fine pasteStep 02
Heat coconut oil in a pan.Splutter mustard seeds.Add curry leaves and red chillies. Mix well into the chutney and serveI would like to know your comments and suggestions also how it went for you.
