Rajma Hummus | How to make healthy rajma hummus2015-11-20
A healthy and delicious middle eastern starter dip.
Rajma hummus or red kidney beans hummus is a delicious dip made with a twist using red kidney beans. Hummus is a protein rich and delicious spread. It is originated from Middle Eastern region and a perfect appetizer or side dish for vegetarians.
My mother in law introduced me this wonderful dish. She used to prepare hummus for chapathi along with spicy chicken fry. I liked the earthy flavor of it and started doing experiments on hummus. Recently we have tried hummus with nacho chips and it was heavenly. This combination is perfect for a family eve.
Normally we prepare hummus with chickpea. Long back I have tried Beetroot Hummus. It was very colorful and rich in nutrients. This time I made hummus with rajma. The recipe is so simple and easy to make. Rajma is rich in cholesterol lowering fiber and contains lots of protein. I have already tried Easy Rajma Masala and Dal Makhani.
Hope you all will like this delicious rajma hummus. Please try it out and let me know how it turned out for you.
