Famous North Indian Rajma Recipe
Healthy and delicious rajma| Red beans curry. I came to know about dishes like rajma, dal makhani, dum aloo all after my marriage. In Kerala, we make curries with black chana, green peas, cow pea etc… As all beans are rich in protein and also good for health, I decided to try these north Indian curries.
I have already tried and posted One pot dal Makhani recipe. This time I tried rajma with red kidney beans. I made this for Puttu(famous kerala breakfast item. You can check my Puttu and Kadala Curry here. This rajma curry came out so delicious. Beans were so soft and tender. It is very easy to make this rajma curry and the beans need to cook soft and tender to make this curry thicker and creamy.

How to make Rajma?
Ingredients
200 g of red kidney beans/rajma
1 no of onion
1 no of tomato
1 tbsp. of ginger garlic paste
1/4 spn. of cumin powder
1/2 spn. of chilli powder
1/6 spn. of turmeric powder
1/4 spn. of garam masala
1/6 spn. of dried mango powder/amchur powder(optional)
salt as required
