Rava ladoo | Rava ladoo with jaggery
A healthy and nutritious laddu rava,coconut and jaggery
Rava ladoo is a delicious and easy to make sweet dish with rava/semloina,grated coconut and jaggery solution. It is a common traditional sweet of south india. Usually we make rava ladoo with sugar syrup. But here I used jaggery solution instead of sugar. I would like to share some sweet recipes like maa laddu/ pottukadala laddu,Wheat flour laddu,ragi laddu,sweet mixute with carrot and coconut,milk chocolate pudding,sooryakala,sweet paniyaram,healthy popped ragi laddu

How to make Rava Ladoo
Ingredients
2 cup of rava/semolina
1 1/2 cup of coconut
250g of jaggery
1/2 spn. of cardamom powder
2 tbsp of of ghee
Method
Step 01
Heat a nonstick pan and dry roast semolina/rava till golden brown color(Medium flame.Stir continuously)
Step 02
Make jaggery solution ( 2 cup of jaggery powder 1 cup of water). Boil till the jaggery solution thickens and starts to stick in your fingers.
Step 03
Heat ghee in a pan. Add roasted rava and grated coconut. Stir for 2 minutes in medium flame. Add cardamom powder and mix well.
Step 04
Reduce the flame and add jaggery solution little by little and mix well. If you are able to make ladoo(check the consistency of the mixture),stop adding jaggery solution. Switch off the flame.
Step 05
Allow to cool for 2 minutes and soon make ladoo from the mixture. If you are not able make ladoo, add 1-2 spn. of ghee.
Step 06
Store in airtight container. This laddu is having the shelf life of 4-5 days.
