Spicy traditional sardine pepper fry with few ingredients

Fish fry is an inevitable part of Kerala lunch menu. This small fish is very nutrious and rich in fatty acids. Sardine fry goes well with vegetarian curriesand rice. We can make fish fry in many ways. I already postedtraditonal mathi fry and rava fish fry here. This time I would like to share a variety fish fry for you. Fish fry with pepper and sardine is the best fish fro this fry. Hope you all will like this recipe.

10 Whole fish cleaned preferably Sardine
1 spn. of chilli powder
1 1 1/2 spoon pepper powder
1/4 spn. of turmeric powder
1/2 of one lemon
Salt as required
Oil for fry

Sardine Pepper Fry preparation Method

Step 01

Make a fine paste of chilli powder,pepper powder, turmeric powder salt and lemon juice.

Step 02

Marinate each fish pieces with this masala one by one.Keep aside for 10 minutes.

Step 03

Heat oil in a pan.Shallow fry the fish on medium flame.

Step 04

Flip over fish after 2-3 minutes.

Step 05

Once the Fish is cooked take out from the pan and serve hot.
