Spicy traditional sardine pepper fry with few ingredients
Fish fry is an easy and inevitable recipe in Kerala lunch menu. Sardine is very healthy rich in Omega 3. fish curry is always better than fried one. But once in a while who will say no to this juicy,spicy sardine pepper fry. This pepper fry goes well with vegetarian curry and rice. We can make fish fry in many ways. I have already posted some fish fry recipes like simple fish fry recipe and mangalore fish fry (rava fish fry). Here I would like to show you sardine pepper fry recipe. 10 Whole fish cleaned preferably Sardine
1 spn. of pepper powder
1/2 spn. of ginger garlic paste
1/4 spn. of chilli powder
1/4 spn. of turmeric powder
1/2 of one lemon
Salt as required

Nadan Fish Fry preparation Method
Make a fine paste of chilli powder,pepper powder,ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder salt and lemon juice.You can use 1 spn. of water.
Marinate each fish pieces with this masala one by one.Keep aside for 15 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan.Shallow fry the fish on medium flame.(Adding curry leaves will enhance the taste).
Flip over fish after 2-3 minutes.
Once the Fish is done take out from the pan and serve hot.
1. To avoid the extra spiciness, you can skip chilli powder.
