Cheera chakkakkuru curry(Spinach and jackfruit seed curry)
Traditional Kerala side dish with spinach and jackfruit seed.
Cheera chakkakkuru curry / Spinach jackfruit seed curry is a healthy and easy to make wide dish which goes well with rice, chapathi etc. This is a traditional side dish of Keralites and my mom used to make this often during the jackfruit season.
I have already posted spinach curry
with dal and coconut. Here I have used jackfruit seed instead of dal. Jackfruit seed gives a nice flavor and thick consistency to the curry which also has lot of health benefits.
