Tomato Onion Chutney Restaurant Style
Easy tasty tomato onion chutney prepared in Restaurant Style
Tangy and smooth chutney with onion and tomato. My son like this chutney a lot.He will eat 2-3 Idli’s with this chutney.So I will prepare this often (2 -3 times a week).When I will get scoldings from my husband I don’t know π . This easy Restaurant Style tomato onion chutney goes well with Dosa,Idli,Appam etc…
Ingredients
1 large no of onion
2 medium sized tomato
1 spring of curry leaves
2 cloves of garlic(optional)
1/2 spn. of chilli powder
1 small piece of tamarind
2 spn. of oil
Tomato Onion Chutney Restaurant Style Preparation Method
Step 01
Heat oil in a pan.
Step 02
Add chopped onion,garlic and curry leaves.Fry till onion became translucent.
Step 03
Add chopped tomato and tamarind.Fry till tomatoes became mushy.
Step 04
Add chilli powder and saute for 1 minute.
Step 05
Switch off the flame and add salt.Allow to cool.
Step 06
Grind the mix using 2 tbsp. of water to smooth fine paste.
Step 07
Serve with Idli,dosa etc…
