Tomato Squash
Healthy and delicious tomato squash
Tomato squash is a variety and healthy refreshing drink. Usually we make curry,jam and pickle with tomato. In this recipe I would like to share the recipe of tomato squash. It is very easy to make and requires only 3 ingredients. Tomatoes are also an excellent source vitamin C, biotin, molybdenum, and vitamin K. The water content of tomato is very high compared to other vegetables. Tomatoes are also good for skin and eyes.I have already posted some healthy drinks like Cucumber shake,Carrot shake,papaya honey delight,Plantain Milk shake,Toddy palm fruit(pana nonku shake) etc… hope you all will like this recipes.
How to make Tomato Squash
Ingredients
2 kg of Tomato
3/4 kg of Sugar
1 tbsp. of lemon juice
Method
Step 01
Heat water in a thick bottom vessel.
Step 02
Allow to boil. Switch of the flame and put tomatoes in water. Keep aside for 5 minutes.

Step 03
By that time the outer skin will break.Peel off the skin.


Step 04
Grind the tomatoes till smooth paste.
Step 05
Transfer the tomato puree to a thick bottom vessel. Add sugar and mix well.
Step 06
Switch on the flame and cook for 20-25 minutes in medium flame. Stir often.
Step 07
When the squash reaches to a thick consistency, add lemon juice and mix well.
Step 08
Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Step 09
Switch off the flame and allow to cool.
Step 10
Transfer to glass bottle and store in refrigerator.
Step 10
At the time of serving, take 2-3 spn. of squash for one glass of chilled water.
