A delicious & refreshing fruit drink made of watermelon and jaggery.
Watermelon juice with jaggery. It is an easy to make traditional refreshing drink of kerala malabar side. I still remember my mom make this yummy drink for us in summer holidays. Jaggery makes this drink more healthy and gives variety taste. Instead of jaggery you can also use sugar. Even though it is winter, day time is very sunny here. You can try this juice to beat this heat. I have already posted some healthy delicious drinks like green mango juice,tomato squash,cucumber shake,khus syrup(ramacham sarbath),aam ka panna etc…
You can also try this side dish made with watermelon rind watermelon rind curry which is also very healthy.
Ingredients
half of one watermelon
1 cup of powdered jaggery
Method
Step 01
Take the flesh of watermelon and chop in to very small pieces.
Step 02
Gently squeeze the watermelon pieces with hands or any ladle.
Step 03
Add powdered jaggery. Mix well and keep in refrigerator for 15 minutes (or you can serve directly)
Step 04
Transfer to glasses and enjoy this yummy healthy drink.
