2 cup of chopped watermelon rinds
1/2 cup of toor dal
1/2 cup of coconut
1 no of tomato
3 no of shallots
1/8 spn. of cumin seeds
1/6 spn. of turmeric powder
1/2 spn. of chilli powder
Salt as required
1 spn. of oil
1/2 spn. of mustard seeds
2 spring of curry leaves

Step 01

Pressure cook toor dal along with chopped tomato,salt,turmeric powder and chilli powder.(2-3 whistle in medium flame)

Step 02

Add chopped watermelon rinds and again cook till 1-2 whistle in medium flame.

Step 03

Grind grated coconut along with cumin seeds and shallots.

Step 04

Add this to cooked rinds and cook for 1 min.Do not allow to boil the curry.Turn of the flame.

Step 05

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 06

Splutter mustard seeds.Add curry leaves.Fry for 1/2 minute.

Step 07

Add this seasoning in to curry and mix well.Serve with rice,chappathi etc…
