    Wheat biscuits are healthy and loaded with fiber. This is an easy to make biscuit recipe with no eggs. In addition I made this whole wheat biscuits without baking powder and baking soda. For crunchiness I have added grated coconut and crushed almonds too. You can also check for some simple snacks recipes like whole wheat biscuits. You can also check for some kids special snacks like whole wheat crispy puri,milk cake,banana walnut cake,beetroot murukku,ribbon murukku etc… Hope you all will like this recipes.

    How to make Whole Wheat Biscuits?

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup of whole wheat atta
    • 100g of butter (room temperature)
    • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
    • 1/2 cup of Grated coconut and crushed almonds
    • 1/4 cup of milk(optional)
    • 1/4 spn. of cardammom powder or vanilla essence
    • 1 tbsp. of sugar
    • A pinch of salt

    Method

    Step 01

    Take whole wheat flour in a bowl.

    Step 02

    Add butter and mix well with hand(butter should at room temperature). Then add powdered sugar,salt,sugar crystals(optional),grated coconut,crushed almonds and cardamom powder. Knead to smooth dough.

    Step 03

    If you are not getting a dough consistency, add milk little by little and knead to a smooth cookie dough consistency.

    Step 04


    Preheat oven 180 degree

    Step 05


    Using chapathi roller roll the dough in to 1/4 cm inch thickness.

    Step 06


    Cut the biscuits in to desired shapes(I pressed the biscuit with a fork).Bake for 20 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes and serve.
